I have a 1990 OMC 5.7l cobra. Just bought the boat last week and replaced engine due to cracked block runs great when cold and even when warm, but once you shut it off and try to restart 10-15 minutes later it cranks but will not start. There is no spark at the plugs, once it sits for about 1-1.5 hours it will fire right up and runs great. It has a distributor less ignition system and is carburated. Power and ground are good at the module when this is occurring. Any ideas? Thanks,

Parts for the ignition are NLA. I would install a good distributor and coil. Cool
