Should the fuel filter and lower drive oil be changed every season?
Thanks |

Simple answer - That is good practice to reduce future (read "on the water") problems...
And changing the differential and transmission fluid in your tow vehicle every 50,000 is also good practice. _________________ Boat Scotty

Well, changing oil/filters is, of course, a good idea, considering that keeping any machine in top condition will help it's performance.
However, not everyone has the time, money, or inclination to put that much effort into their machines. If one wants to be smart, but not be overzealous, about how many years can you go between changes without seeing a significant performance drop? |
