The lid on my hynautic resevoir finaly rusted through, the kids would not stop stepping on it . Since the whole resevoir is pretty much busted up, could anyone please tell me, firsth where to get a new resevoir and then how hard is it to install and where i can find instructions?

Thanks in advance

From one Jim to another; Hynautic parts are getting harder and harder to find. Try giving the Boys as go2marine a call. They were able to get me the parts for my system!

If you are still considering replacing the reservoir yourself, my advice is go for it. It is not that hard. But you need to bleed the lines afterwards so get yourself a bottle of the Hynautic fluid (ethylene glycol type) and have at it. Go2marine has the instructions for bleeding the lines on their site. Here is a link:

Good luck

Took the advice and read those instructions...piece of cake...in fact I printed them off and put them in the bottom drawer in the boat.
