I have a 1987 Wellcraft Coastal 250 with a 260 Mercruiser I/O. It currently has a 15 inch 17 pitch propellor on it, I believe that took a 15 1/4 inch 15 pitch propellor off. It feels like a totally different boat with the new prop rpms increased from 4200 to 4800 it feels much more powerful. Can anybody tell me if this is the correct prop for the boat and maybe an estimate on what the top speed would be. Thank you.

The right prop is the one that performs best. The correct rpm's is 4600 @ full throttle. Add 1 inch of pitch and rpm's drop 200, take away 1 inch gain 200 Cool
