Question about the fit of a boatcover. We have an 02 Sugarsand Tango 4x2 that needs a new boat cover. Is there one brand that is better than another as far as "Fitting" the boat? i.e. Staying on and not bogging down with water after a rain?

As far a what brand to choose it will depend on who has a pattern for your boat. In the case of your 2002 Surgarsand Tango 4x2, I find 2 companies that have a made to measure boat cover available. One is Taylor Made, their part number is 66218; and the other is Shoremasters, part number SAND1003. Both are going to be a custom fit cover but no matter how perfect the fit you will find that you just canít stretch it tight enough to completely prevent the collection of water and the eventual sagging and pooling. To completely prevent this you will have to use an accessory support pole placed where the cover tends to sag.

The heaviest, most waterproof fabric will be Shoremasters Prizm.

The Taylor cover will be a bit less money and their hot shot will be lighter and easier to handle.
